This one-of-a-kind pot is wheel-thrown and altered. The larger bonsai pot measures 9.5"long, 8.5" wide. It is 2.25" tall in its outer dimensions.
It features a blue shino glaze that thins to dark brown as it breaks over the raised blossoms and twigs. See the up-close to appreciate fully. The pot was wheel thrown and then reshaped into a freeform oval.
Slip (liquid clay) was applied to create a gentle spray of cherry blossom twigs.
It is brand new and has the 'Little Pots by KK' chop on the bottom.
The pot includes a drain hole and recessed wire holes. Mesh round will be included.
The bottom surface has been polished in a three-step process, with a 600 grit diamond pad as the final step, to ensure the feet are smooth and cause no scratches on wood surfaces.
