This one-of-a-kind "Gold Ore" pot is wheel-thrown and altered. The bonsai pot measures 7.5" long, 6.25" wide. It is 2.25" tall in its outer dimensions.
It features a smooth unglazed clay enhanced with dark oxide wash. In a third firing actual gold particles are applied at a lower temperature that the metal is able to withstand.
Speaking of metal: because this pot contains gold, it can not go into a microwave (but really why would you want to?!)
It is brand new and has the 'Little Pots by KK' chop on the bottom.
The pot includes a drain hole. As you can see in the photo it also has recessed wire holes.
The bottom surface has been polished in a 3 step process using a 600 grit diamond pad as the final step to ensure the feet are smooth and cause no scratches on wood surfaces.
