This one-of-a-kind hand-built ceramic bonsai pot in a dramatic, hand-sculpted crescent shape measures slightly over 10" in its outer dimensions all around. The opening on top measures 10" long. The lowest rim is 4" tall.
It is perfect for your special bonsai, semi-cascade, etc.
It features many hand-built components. A dark oxide wash enhances the detail. Different accents are glazed in blue and periwinkle purple underglaze and glaze.
You will have to look closer to see the abundance of corals, sponges, and invertebrates. The theme of this pot is ricordea, a soft coral commonly seen near Florida.
The pot includes a drain hole. A mesh round will be included. This pot also has wire holes and small feet to hide your wiring. As the photo shows, the wire and drain lines are recessed (carved out).
Important: there's a crack along the back wire line. This crack does not go all the way through the crack but justified a significant price reduction of 100 dollars. It is not visible from any other view other than upside down
The bottom surface has been polished in a three-step process, with a 600-grit diamond pad as the final step, to ensure the feet are smooth and cause no scratches on wood surfaces.
